I have to admit to having a great distaste for Bis. I also have to admit that until now I’d only ever heard one of their songs, Candypop - possibly the single worst song ever written!

Now I’ve heard this mini-album I realise that I was wrong to judge them on just one song. I realised as soon as I pressed play on this CD and Dead Wrestlers sprung into life. With a verse reminiscent of early Depeche Mode and a chorus that mixes more gripping melodies than you could shake a stick at.

As it carries on that 80’s pop influence is carefully mixed with pop and industrial music from the 90’s. I shouldn’t work but it does.
