Brothers In Sound - Family Is For Sharing
Posted by: Andy on Thursday, 27th July, 2000No, this is not a Bee Gees for the new Millennium, nor is it the new Sister Sledge. This is an album of darkly optimistic Electronica.
Every track is fantastically constructed and manages to mix dark sounds with light sounds to produce songs that totally immerse you. During each track you find yourself drifting off into your own little world, onto to snap out of it every now and then and wonder what you’re doing.
I’d be willing to bet that Brothers In Sound are going to get a huge underground following from this album. I’d also be willing to bet that they’re the only band ever to have written a song about Daffy Duck and Barbara Windsor.
