Barth is from Paris and writes music for French TV. No, no… keep reading! Barth makes his money by writing music for French TV and spends the rest of his time writing music so good that he can never have any hope of any sort of commercial success. Well, maybe not.

The music cannot be described without sounding ridiculous. The best I have come up with so far is the Beatles and Beck playing dub versions of punk songs without distortion. There, you see? Very silly but it’s the best I can do.

Every now and then someone wanders over from France and plays some odd sounding music. They then get told that they ain’t never going to amount to nothing. History shows us that these people are the ones who are critically acclaimed everywhere and by everyone just a few weeks later. Maybe this is Barth.

To be honest, I don’t care. I rarely pay attention to such things anyway. Barth is pretty good though.
