Adom have been described as a cross between My Bloody Valentine and U2; Radiohead and Joy Division; Aqualung and Nirvana. I think it sounds a bit like all of that fronted by the guy from Rival Schools.

The band are American and on the verge of success, having recorded a demo with Chris Cornell and refusing offers of studio time from Elton John (after they burnt the band’s name into his tennis court) they fled to the back streets of Manchester. Why? Because they were bored apparently, which is as good a reason as any. Who cares, this album is ace. Worth investing your interest in.
