Adequate Seven - Songs Of Innocence And Of Experience

Posted by: Andy on Wednesday, 28th April, 2004

There is no escaping the fact that Adequate Seven have a really bad name. Couple that with the uninspiring album title they’ve chosen and you can make up your own mind as to whether it was intentional or not. Don’t think about it too hard though or you might be put off and you might miss out on the quality that is contained within these thirteen songs.

The band play a strange combination of punk, ska, funk and hardcore - a style so erratic that you could often start to think that you’ve put on a compilation by mistake.

Adequate Seven have the ability to appeal to so many different people that they could well be huge in a year’s time and a forthcoming tour with Fishbone and Bad Brains can only help them on their way. Get in now.
