Art Brut formed whilst waiting for a train on the Isle Of Wight. They also claim to be working towards world peace, which means you can account anything that goes wrong to a plot against the band.

The band’s latest demo features tracks produced by Micky of Ciccone fame. Currently I am possession of just one of these songs, which is ace. When I have stopped being such a div I will get hold of the others. Their art-rock sound, comprising punky guitars and Eddie Argos’ charismatic, almost spoken word vocal is the kind of thing that should have you running around and speaking too quickly.
