Borland Back In Limp Bizkit

Limp Bizkit have fired their guitarist, Mike Smith, apparently to make room for original guitarist Wes Borland, with whom the band split far from pleasantly in 2001.

Speaking to reporters this week, Bizkit frontman Fred Durst said, “We are very content with Mike being gone. We are the type of people that stay true to our family and our instincts and at any moment will act on intuition as a whole. Mike wasn’t the guy. We had fun playing with him, but always knew, in the back of our minds, that he wasn’t where we needed him to be mentally.”

No official confirmation of Borland’s return to the group has been announced but the band’s official website (www.limpbizkit.com) now features only a series of photographs showing Wes Borland and the rest of Limp Bizkit rehearsing in a studio and the words “august thirteenth two thousand and four”.
