The American moral majority are up in arms this week after System Of A Down slipped an unscripted “fuck” into a performance of sweary new single BYOB on Saturday Night Live.

The show’s broadcasters NBC had sanctioned five uses of the word in the performance but frontman Serj Tankian slipped in a sixth. Reports that this unauthorized usage of a rude word caused the audience to rise up and begin to act in a morally reprehensible manner are as yet unconfirmed.

BYOB is taken from Mezmerize, the first part of System Of A Down’s new double album, released on Monday (16th May).
