The band were performing at Club NME at The Warehouse in Leeds last Wednesday (20th July) when then accident happened. Sherry leap off the stage into the crowd but feel badly and sustained head and back injuries. The singer was rushed to Leeds General Infirmary but died hours later.

The band’s management issued the following statement:

“He was a really good lad and real showman. He went out doing his thing and he always really meant it. It’s a real shame as the band were starting to make waves, but he was a great frontman, a great friend and he will be missed by everyone, the band, his friends and his family.”

Bad Beat Revue formed in January 2002 and quickly became known around the West Yorkshire music scene as one of the best live bands in the area, largely due to their charismatic frontman. In recent months the band had started to attract national interest and fired on with a high-profile support slot in Manchester with Hard-Fi.
