Liverpool four-piece The Aeroplanes have everything on the list to become and indie sensation in the modern music world: a high placing on the iTunes chart (they chalked up more downloads than any other unsigned band in December last year); a list of celebrity fans (including Jeff Bridges, who has included them on the soundtrack to his new film The Moguls) and some seriously catchy songs.

Don’t Stop Me is a quick-paced tune a la Franz Ferdinand and The Libertines, Somedays slows it down a notch and shows off the band’s more melodic side and Black Hole is a countrified acoustic number with a fantastic chorus.
