Veteran electro-rockers Pop Will Eat Itself haven’t been resting on their laurels since their massively successful reformation shows in January. Drummer Fuzz Townshend has now revealed that the band are working on new material for future release.

Speaking on the band’s official website pweination.co.uk Townshend said, “We don’t know which label yet as we haven’t approached anyone yet, but the first versions of tracks are having their final tweaks so we may have more info soon. I’m listening to the first seven new tracks on my car’s system at the mo’. Sounding good!”

Suckers for crap looking films set in the desert may also have already spotted that Clint Mansell has also provided the soundtrack for Sahara. His work will also grace the forthcoming film-of-the-game Doom and Darren Aronofsky’s (Pi, Requiem For A Dream) new film The Fountain.
