Brakes - All Night Disco Party Remixes

Holy crap, this is in all honestly, amazing. Brakes release a Graham Sutton remix of their scatty punk song All Night Disco Party, and I’m so glad they have.

This is a stomping, eat you alive kind of song, made more so with the powers of computer and stuff that people who remix songs use. The song begins with a bass line which has come to life, and leads into a song which you didn’t think could be better, but is. I can’t help but put it up loud. Yes, I’ve danced around my room to it, but I defy anyone who doesn’t feel compelled to do the same.

All Night Disco Party gives you a big hard kick up the arse. It pokes its fingers in your ears. It slaps you round the head, and when you look at it, it looks in the other direction and acts innocent. And that is why it’s so good. It’s the kind of music that’s alive and electro and guitar-y and mental and oh… so many things all in one go, that just doesn’t come along often enough. If a song can be bursting with life, then that’s exactly what this is, and I love it.

I can also assure you the two other remixes on this CD are so darn good you might have an aneurism.

I’ll stop gushing now. I just hope you go and buy this!
