New York musician and acclaimed remixer Ryan Smith’s latest solo project, A Million Billion, makes its UK debut with this single, Volcano Season.

Sonically A Million Billion has a certain amount in common with The Dismemberment Plan, though it’s more polished and has less of a tendency to go weird. Volcano Season is a piano-driven song which builds into a pop epic, laying down enough hooks to make sure you won’t forget it. The b-sides Afraid Of Ghosts and Planes Land are both pretty impressive too and make this a single definitely worth having.
