Taken from Billy Talent’s second album Billy Talent II, Red Flag is a difficult song to pin down because it simultaneously does things I think are great and things I absolutely hate. It’s certainly some of the punkiest major label punk around at the moment but it’s still a bit too smooth around the edges. I wouldn’t mind if it came on the radio but I would never buy it. I guess that means I don’t like it.
