Noisettes - What’s The Time Mr Wolf?

Posted by: Andy on Tuesday, 6th February, 2007

This album is brilliant. No two ways about it. The Noisettes have filtered rock music through a big sieve have kept all the best bits, putting it all together to make some thick, sexy music.

Dan Smith’s thunderous Led Zep-esque riffs remain in constant battle with Jamie Morrison’s drums (both take quite a battering). Up front with a bass and a fantastic set of lungs is Shingai Shoniwa, who just as comfortable with soulful purring as she is with a full on roar.

That The Noisettes aren’t already a household name is a travesty. Go fix it.
