Further Guns N’ Roses Album Delays

Posted by: Andy on Friday, 23rd February, 2007

Didn’t I say this would happen just the other day? Yes. Yes, I did. Well, anyway, Guns N’ Roses have announced that the release of their long-awaited (so long-awaited that we should probably come up with a new term to describe just how long it has been awaited) album The Chinese Democracy has been delayed yet again.

The album was due to be released on 6th March but it seems the band haven’t had long enough to get it finished on time (fair enough, it took me thirteen years to grow pubic hair. And I was really trying).

A statement posted on the band’s official website www.gunsnroses.com, reads:

The good news is that all of the recording for the album has been completed. Drummer Frank Ferrer and guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal integrated themselves into the recordings seamlessly and will have their presence felt.

There is no official release date, as the band is currently mixing, but after some delays and scheduling difficulties, things appear to be moving along. So, there you go, things appear to be moving along.

If this album ever gets released, we’ll let you know.
