The Horrors became the most talked about band since The Arctic Monkeys when they released their debut single, Sheena Is A Parasite, last year. Eleven months later they’re preparing for the release of their debut album, Strange House. That’s next week, though. This week, they’re releasing their third single, Gloves.

Sounding like a reluctant collaboration between 80’s Matchbox B-line Disaster and The Stranglers, Gloves is the kind of dishevelled, organ-heavy situation we’ve come to expect from these Southend teens.
