Tickets will go on sale this week for Lou Reed’s European premiere of the entirety of his 1973 album Berlin. These rare European concerts will see Reed performing with a 30-piece ensemble including his band, a string and horn section and a children’s choir.

The tour begins in Brussels on 18th June and will include performances in Holland, France, Germany and Italy, as well as three UK performances at the Manchester International Festival on Friday 29th June and at the Hammersmith Apollo in London on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July. Tickets for the London shows go on sale at 9am on Friday 16th March.

The European concerts follow Berlin’s original world premiere at St. Anne’s Warehouse in New York in December.
