Though Razorlight are likely to be a fixture at this year’s festivals, the Chili Peppers and Smashing Pumpkins have announced that they will not make any other UK festival appearances.
The Pumpkins, as has been previously reported, announced last year that they had reformed and are working on mew material. Billy Corgan recently announced that the band will release a new album, entitled Zeitgeist, in July 2007. As well as Corgan, drummer Jimmy Chamberlain is the only confirmed member of the new line-up.
