Pull Tiger Tail are B-unique’s current buzz band and this, the band’s first proper single for the label, is supposed to be the one that starts everything rolling. But I can’t help feeling that it might get overshadowed by the similar sounding new single by Maximo Park. The only thing that really marks it out is that Marcus Ratcliff sounds quite similar to Mavis the fairy from Willow The Wisp, particularly when he sings softly.

I’m willing to reserve judgement but so far I’m not sold.
