Opening with a perky little riff and then rumbling on, Fantastic Apparatus is a smooth indie track. I must admit that it’s taken me a while to get into it, but now I’m here I can see all it’s charm and glory and it’s a perfect accompaniment to anyone’s distraction from their dissertation! (I should know…!)

Double A side Cold Holidays has an air of the now defunct Copperpot Journals, but with a chorus makes you want to leap around.

I can’t quite say that they’re enrapturing me with delight, and I feel as though there is something missing. They’re harmless though, and do nothing bad for the lug holes either.
