MTV2 have banned the video for The Cribs’ new single, Men’s Needs, after TV watchdog OFCOM upheld complains after scenes of drummer Ross Jarman’s arm being severed and bassist Ryan Jarman getting beheaded were deemed “too shocking” for a daytime audience.

Men’s Needs is released on 14th May, via Wichita, and will be followed by the band’s new album, Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever.
