Orange Goblin - Healing Through Fire
Posted by: Andy on Tuesday, 15th May, 2007Now in their twelve year together, Orange Goblin have signed to Sanctuary subsidiary Mayan Records for the release of their sixth album, Healing Through Fire.
As ever, the album is packed full of tight groove-metal that stinks of beer and keeps getting too close to your face. Saxon are a strong influence throughout and there are also hints of Kyuss and Black Sabbath.
I’ve never been keen on Ben Ward’s vocals and that hasn’t changed with this album. Still, don’t let this little matter of personal taste distract you. With Healing Through Fire, Orange Goblin are on top form and are sure to have fans old and new in raptures.
