Formed by Ben Sidall out of his bedsit in 2005, The Lodger make upbeat, chirpy indie that belies the bitterness hidden in the lyrics. Though the sound might be a bit lo-fi for youngsters used to slick production, those of you still living the C86 dream will be in your element.
