Fabienne Delsol - Between You And Me

Posted by: Andy on Thursday, 2nd August, 2007

Recreating with near obsessive accuracy the pop music of 1960’s France, Fabienne Delsol’s second solo album is a mix of covers and original songs written by George Miller, Peder Bernhardt and Pete Molinari.

The French-born, London-based singer and former frontwoman for The Bristols skips cutely around the fourteen brief songs that make up the album, ensuring she’s out of sight almost as she arrives, leaving a shadow of a memory and a warm feeling behind. She saves the best for last with That’s The Way To Do It to be absolutely certain that you’ll be back for another encounter as soon as possible.
